Hey All! Just want to post a quick update. I'm working on the art prints (these are being ordered/shipped separately). Stickers have already arrived at the warehouse, and everything else should be arriving there tomorrow. orders have been uploaded into the system, once things arrive, the warehouse will need to "kit" all the things together, (otherwise they charge me per item on a pull, which would essentially be, 2stickers, 3 bookmarks, a calendar, + anything else, which would add up pretty quickly, this way it only counts as 1 or 2 picks).Â
You should all have access to the coloring book and the calendar, and i hope you love the art! (if you don't just make a comment, as its probably related to the order being locked down.Â
I dont have pictures of anything yet, but i hope to have some this week.Â

The artists for these calendars have worked SO hard and it's been thrilling to see it all come together. There's still some 100 For 100 bundles remaining, if you want to snatch them up, but it looks like they'll be gone soon!

I am super excited to announce that all surveys that have been successfully completed and had final payments processed are FULFILLED! That's 317 orders done, digital and physical. Many have already been taken to the post office, and even delivered. The final 82 boxes are headed to the post office tomorrow morning. REMINDER TO REMAINING BACKERS
There are still 11 who haven't filled surveys (some have failed initial charges), 4 with failed charges for shipping (or even initial pledge), and 1 who hasn't completed their address. That's only 16 people left to get goodies to! Get your surveys filled out NOW so we can get your stuff to you ASAP.
Remember, you only have until January 31 of 2024 to complete your survey and pay final dues to have your rewards guaranteed to ship out. Anything incomplete after that day might be considered a donation to the campaign and your rewards could be forfeit. This is because I cannot be a warehouse! I need to get products in and out as quickly and efficiently as possible. All things Mythic Management are handled in my own home and there is only so much space for work storage.

At the moment we are still waiting for the last few backers to get their surveys finished. But as soon as they do we will be charging cards and scampering to get this all fulfilled and out. Estimated time to go to the printer is by december 1st. We'll be putting a rush on it, so it *should* be here in time for us to ship out by the 15th. While I know we said we can't guarantee a christmas arrival, we are still doing our best to make it happen. We'll keep you posted as we get more updates on timeframe.Â
The book is finished, the postcards are finished, the ornaments are finished, the dress is finished, the tree paintings are finished, aaand.. I just finished the snow fairy painting for the limited edition collectable art trading card! I'm actually really pleased with her, I feel like my sense of shading is starting to improve which I am super excited about! I hope you like her as much as I do!
The original has a holographic glittery effect in her hair and eyes, and the fastenings of her robes and jewelry are metallic silver.Â
Updates: First off, I am told that the updates are not showing in order. So I'm posting the date of the update in the title to help that.
Postcard Clarification: It was drawn to my attention that my phrasing was a bit vague and confusing regarding the postcards. I am terribly sorry about that, and am writing clarification now. If you filled out your survey already and this clarification means you ordered the wrong amount/wanted a specific one, please feel free to email me at [email protected] with who you are and exactly what cards you wanted. I will make certain your order is exactly how you want it.
Postcards are broken into two types. Story postcards (that are letters between jack and julie and so are art not in the book), and then assorted postcards which include postcards with images from the book.
Story postcards are the ones you want that have extra info. The backs are printed with Jack and Julie's letters, so aren't good for using them for personal use. They're purely decorative. They are *not* printed in the book, nor is the writing between Jack and Julie printed in the book. They are not necessary to know what's going on, they're mostly just flavor text. The text on each postcard is unique to the location of the card. There are six of them, and they come from these locations: Brussels Paris Orca Island London Mt Rainer Pike's Market.
Assorted Postcards are blank on the back, so you can use them to send to people. They have 14 variations you can choose from. The six from the story postcards (minus the flavor text), and then these 8 additional options: Warm light Blue Eyes Cold Trees Snowy Landscape Holiday Houses Julie One Dance St Vith
How to order postcards: To order the story ones, you pick the story postcard add on, and then you can choose from the variants available. Assorted postcards I believe do not have variant options, we just put them in at random (but don't quote me on that one since I need to check it).
Backerkit issues?: Please let me know if you are having any issues or struggles using backerkit. I cannot do anything about the formatting of the site obviously, but I am willing to pass your concerns along to their help desk and do what I can on my end to make things as smooth as possible for you all. I really appreciate your patience and understanding while we learn how to use this platform.
Where we're at with making everything and shipping dates: The books and the art trading cards are at the printers, and are expected to be here at our house by the 7th at the very latest. Austin is coming up on the 11th to start with the fulfillment, and our goal is to have it all shipped out by the 15th (so that it can hopefully get to you before Christmas).
The ornaments are made, the dress is made, the original tree art is all painted. They are just waiting to be sorted out into their appropriate boxes.
The postcard blanks are here and I will be printing them personally, so they are all ready to go. I will only be printing exactly enough for the orders here, as they are unique to this crowdfunding campaign and will not be available elsewhere.
Art Trading Cards Update: A note about the art trading cards. Rare cards in the collection have gold gilding on the edges. Uncommon cards have silver gilding on the edges. Common cards do not have gilding.
We wanted to do something special for the crowdfunding only cards, and so these ones have blue gilding on the edges. There are only 50 printed in total of each card (you guys unlocked two cards). I'm pretty excited for them to get here. We're anticipating about 3 left over after we get them all to you guys, and those extras will either go up on the website, or be saved for a special occasion. We're not making plans until we're certain exactly how many are left over.

We took the weekend to rest and revel in our funding success; thank you to everyone who backed this campaign and helped close us out at a wonderful $26,281.06!
No matter if this is your first time backing a Book of Shadows book or you're a return from Buffomet, we're thrilled to have you along for the ride with us as we dive into this phase of bookmaking. We know Paradise Lust is gonna knock some socks off, so here's to our production going smoothly as possible!
Before we get into timeline discussion, we do ask that you ensure your payment methods are updated and/or accurate. We currently have about 25 pledges that have stalled and/or are not charged, and you have until November 30th/December 1st to update these methods before your pledge is dropped completely and you lose your ability to claim your rewards!
Now, onto the fun stuff: production!
Our prospective schedule is as follows:Â
December: prepress/final design production of the book, as well as campaign swag production. Since we'll receive our Backerkit funds around the first half of December, this'll be the stage in which we ensure our files are submitted correctly and the rest of Paradise Lust's interior design is wrapped up. Our campaign swag is also very nearly ready for production (save for some final artwork touchups and formatting for each items' appropriate manufacturers), so expect to see some hopeful proofing news around the latter half of December (and maybe even some physical reward photos)! This is also when we'll be sending out the survey to take down how you'd like your name to be listed in the Special Thanks section of the book, so please be on the lookout for that backer-only update for a link to the exclusive survey!
January: book printing/physical production! For as many copies as we're getting, it'll take about three weeks for the books to be printed, bound, and packaged to get ready for their overseas shipment. Not a whole lot happening during this time, but we hope to have them on a boat before February begins.
February: set sail for Washington! This month will mostly be transportation of the books from our printer overseas to our fulfillment partners White Squirrel. It takes usually around 3-4 weeks for books to land, depending on dock traffic, and then there's always a possible wait to see how long it'll take to get shipped from port to the PNW itself. This is also most likely when we'll begin releasing fulfillment surveys and charging for shipping, so be on the lookout for those emails!
Middle/late March and April: fulfillment (hopefully) begins! While White Squirrel might receive items later than expected depending on shipping scheduling and reward tier organization, this is when we hope to see packages being sent out from White Squirrel!Â
