Hello, everyone! Bailey here instead of Christopher to give you a little more insight on what's happening with shipments. Christopher (who is not nearly as cool as me, by the way*) can tell you everything about story, components, so on. But I (way cooler, vastly superior*) can tell you what's up with the shipments and other customer service concerns.
If you ordered non-Disparation Definitive Edition items (yes, everything), those items are set to fulfill before the end of December. We're getting the last few orders out as soon as possible and they should be on their way in the coming weeks! But! Some of you with card sleeves and bundles may notice that those are missing. Unfortunately, we were not able to print enough standard size card sleeves in time to fulfill those bundles. Instead of making you wait for sleeves, we're going to ship everything that we can (which is everything else non-Disparation) straight to you! Those sleeves will be shipped to you at a later date - likely as soon as we get them in! We're expecting them in early Q1, but we don't have an exact date as of yet. As soon as we know more, either Christopher or I will update you.

We are super excited to show you these prototypes of the cards we produced!
These are smaller than our finished cards will be, and of course don't have the same print quality, but we hope you are as excited as we are by this prototype.
These locally produced samples will be used for me to proof read and edit before we go to print on the mass run!
We used the artwork which is currently winning in our poll, make sure you vote for your favourite artwork! We'll keep the poll open until we finish the campaign, at which point its onto preparing our sample with our main factory.
We are still closing in on our final stretch goal, please keep sharing this campaign so we can hit it!

Hello Adventurers and welcome to the monthly update for December! I decided to post this one a little earlier this month, to avoid the chaos of the Holidays. And if I have any significant news before the end of the year, I'll just post another update then! ;)
PENDING SURVEYS If you have filled in your survey, thank you! You don't need to worry about this paragraph! :) To those who still haven't, you will have time until April to complete them. If you fail to complete them or take any other action, I won't be able to fulfil nor refund your orders. So PLEASE COMPLETE THEM as soon as possible. I will keep on sending reminders at least once a month. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.
DECK COMPLETION On the art side of things, the deck is now 98% complete! Here's the preview of the completion so far: The 3 grey spaces with the red dot are the only portraits that still need to be completed: they are all commissions, all sketched and currently pending approval. Once I hear back from the commissioners, I will complete them quickly. This means that all the characters based on the prompts that you folks provided, are now all complete! I will post them down below in the Backer Only Content section, so please don't forget to go check them out (they might not appear in your email, if you're checking this update from the inbox). I'd love to hear your opinion on them and maybe get some feedback on names and other background ideas for them! :D
Going back to the preview image above, the blacked out portraits with the yellow dots are the ones with no complete background yet. I will be working on them during the Holidays and I expect to make good progress on them pretty soon as well.
During the Holidays I will also start formatting the background side of the cards (so the side with the text) for the characters that have been approved by the Cultural Consultant and the Editor. The side of the cards with the art is already completed, except for the 3 missing portraits of course.

PACKAGING AND MANUFACTURING I'm waiting for my manufacturer to provide feedback on my packaging design, but I thought you'd like to see what the box design is looking like so far. The back of the box still need some details added, which I will only be able to do once I finalise the order, but everything else is pretty much done. Let me know what you think! :D The beautiful Morris-inspired pattern I'm using was drawn by the wonderfully skilled Fez Inkwright (I purchased it from her for use in the deck design).

Here we are at the end of the year and what a year it has been! We're hard at work getting Molly House ready and we have some exciting developments to share with you.
Pledge manager surveys 📝
We have just started sending out emails to backers with pledge survey links! These BackerKit pledge manager surveys are critical to making sure your pledge is ready for fulfillment next year. These will be rolling out this weekend, and very likely across next week so do not be alarmed if you don't get your survey for a few days. If you have not received your BackerKit pledge survey by next Friday Dec 15, please reach out! Your pledge manager survey will allow you to review your items and submit your address for delivery. This is also a really important step for us because it allows us to best estimate how many copies we will print and send to different regional shipping hubs.
Importantly, we will not charge cards for any outstanding balances listed on your BackerKit pledge until July 2024 at the earliest! Right now the plan is to lock surveys around April/May and then charge shipping fees and lock delivery addresses when we are much closer to fulfillment Molly House (closer to late July for some backers and potentially as late as September for others). Survey lock, address lock, and card charging dates will come as a timeline update in March or so.
Wehrlegig @ PAX Unplugged 🎉
We just did our first convention as Wehrlegig and it was incredible. Check out these photos of the booth!! We had Jo, Cole, and Aja running demos of our Molly House prototype all weekend and it was such a delightful time.
We've done plenty of conventions but this was our first time putting Wehrlegig out there and showing off our games in full force. It was truly one of the best shows we've attended and to all the people that came by the booth to see our 18th century festivities and experienced the work-in-progress, thank you!
Development Update🛠️
After the campaign ended, we promised you that we'd take a moment to recoup and then get back into the game design weeds. Well, that is exactly what we've done. We took the most recent build and simplified many aspects while also increasing the strategic complexity of the game. We are really happy with this latest cut of the game (it wouldn't be a true Cole Wehrle collaboration if there weren't gameplay changes after the campaign).
We're going to be releasing this build as an update on Screentop.gg and tabletop simulator for everyone to explore in the coming days and we'll be doing more public playtesting soon on our Discord server. If you are interested in playtesting and joining the conversation around post-campaign development, join the Wehrlegig Games and Friends Server and see the Molly House dev threads.
A final note
Tom and the team over at SUSD put out a video (below) covering John Company and its many facets last week. I would feel some remiss if I did not share this video with our followers here and thank SUSD for the time and consideration of our work. It's a big, complicated game and we're honored to have a video that reflects the project. We appreciate our work getting highlighted by a great channel, and thrilled to have the encouragement for Molly House as we move things forward.

This card will allow you to roll up some new insults to use in your games, and is a great addition to the card deck :)

We were at PAX Unplugged this past weekend and we had an amazing time meeting so many of you! Watching people play Moonrollers was very entertaining with so many cheers, tears, and every possible human emotion all wrapped into 1 game. We loved seeing everyone smile when they pushed their luck just enough to achieve sweet victory.

We are pretty close to shipping all the racks. They are coming straight from the factory so we need you to fill out your address here in Backerkit to deliver them. If not, your racks will be stored at our fulfillment center and you will have to pay extra shipping charges. These are heavy, large packages so you do not what those extra shipping charges.
